It would have made absolutely zero difference to the show and been far harder to source and more of a shame when they got trashed. A relatively pointless suggestion to swap the cars for more powerful ones

they could have done so much more with that lineup! Last 20 mins just annoyed me slightly.

The scripted stuff now is just a waste, I would rather see more 'genuine' pranks than just explosions. Like maybe period modifications, in fact the episode a few series ago where they pretended to be 17 year olds trying to buy a car was really good I felt

Quite liked the hot hatch stuff though it got a bit boring towards the end. Some of the heavy kit was cool though

Would be good to see nice examples of each compared with their modern equivalents in some way. A bit like the 1/8 mile section they done a few years ago but with more than just a shirt straight line sprint.

Could have dome Nova v corsa vxr, mk2 (16v) v mk 6 or 7, xr2i v ST. Be interesting to see how each would compare after some tlc with say new suspension to the newer cars
