PS4 Games Outselling Xbox One 3:1 What does this mean to gaming?

2:1 For tomb raider in the UK.

Only 2 XO games in top ten yet 5 PS4 games. My prediction is the vast majority of dev's will prioritise PS4 as lead platform and sub-contract out the ports like we have seen on TR.

My guess is the ratio will get much wider. If people mostly look to buy the platform their friends have, then I think the momentum for PS4 will continue to grow exponentially.

Not surprised since the PS4 is outselling the xbox but those figurers where from play.com, anyway Its a marathon not a sprint and mohammed farah is running for sony :D

Someone made a good point though, could it be a little of not much else is available for PS4, so more people likely to buy games, the likes of Ryse, Forza etc being on XO keeping gamres happy for a bit.
Might be worth looking at when exclusives come out again, or what are the numbers for BF4 on all consoles?

But it seems like allot more PS4 games are in the chart. Not only that they are topping the charts.

Regarding battlefield. Globally XB1 sold 1.08m PS4 sold 1.33m according to vgcharts. Not a huge amount, but a difference of 250k in favour of PS4.

Edit:
I was also a bit surprised they beat PC sales considering these platforms are only a few months old. I guess console gaming is far from dead as I often heard prior to XB1 and PS4 launches.

For BF4 servers with player live now is at

PC
32,660

PS3
35,999

XBOX360
12,683

XBOXONE
9,754

PS4
18,564

So double the amount on PS4 compared to Xbone, but the PS4 is still more widely available.

Interestingly there are more PS3 players than 360. That surprised me.

Pretty sure BF3 was the same as well.

Live now.

PC online 10 726
PS3 online 11 217
360 online 3 176

there were a few more Xbox players around it's launch but always more PS3 than either PC or Xbox.

More than likly more on PS4 at this point, but..well, you can never base it on VG Chartz, they are always completely off.

I don't, no idea if they have a player tracking like website.

It does, but the numbers come straight from BF3Stats.com.

Don't forget BF3 was free on PS+ last year. That got me playing it again after ditching the 360 version ages ago. So that might have something to do with it.
