Supermarket what is that?

Well actually I do order a bit on ocado, but not a lot at all.
Veg I get from Bristol community farm, delivered before 6am on a Wednesday and buy a meat box monthly from Turner&George/Devon Rose and a couple of others.

Much better quality. Especially the meat.

Some of those places are taking the urine with their prices. I don't mind paying for quality but there is that and there is just being plain expensive

Waitrose swapped their chips for McCain's Quick cook ones, which can only be described as revolting.

Cooked in 8 mins in the oven. Essentially you're defrosting already cooked chips. Taste and texture of a cardboard box.

I think my mum had one of the best substitutions...

Instead of a box of 12 eggs, which they didn't have in stock, they gave her a box of six eggs...yep, just one box of six eggs, no one had thought maybe she would like 2 boxes to give her the 12 eggs she'd ordered!!

It wouldn't surprise me if their systems are setup to only allow 1 for 1 substitutions or something like that.
