Best Quad Core CPU for £150

I'm on a budget of £150 to get a new processor, I'm obviously wanting a quad core CPU on socket 1155. My motherboard is listed below as well as my current specs.
Mobo - ASUS P8H61-MX
CPU - Intel Celron G530
GPU - MSI GTX 670 OC
PSU - Coolermaster 500W

It's basically a 3770, but no IGP.

With that board, I'd agree. With a better board (e.g. Z77), I'd have an unlocked i5 over the xeon in the vast majority of cases.

With a H61 board, there's no overclocking, Xeon's best bet.

3570 is the best you can get of an i5.

remember to make sure your motherboard bios is up to date. given it's h61, it might not support ivybridge processors with the bios it shipped with.

I'd get a 3570K, say in future you upgrade to a second hand Z77 board for almost nothing, as it'd give you a decent boost for overclocking.

If you have no intentions of that, the 3570.

But I'd get the Xeon before I ever bought a 3570.
