will this Nvidia GTX 760 fit my old pc?

2 questions:

• will it run new games at very high settings (1920x1080) ?
• would a ps4 have more impressive graphics?

Yep

I have that case and it takes big cards with no probs

As for newer games, it will cope but depending on your, acceptable frame rates but toning down AA a notch will see it running well

Your system should be able to run at high settings ok.

An i7 2600 with a GTX 760 should be able to manage 40+ fps at maximum settings in that game, at 1920x1080 (well without SSAA).
