Who Are Your Favourite Stand-Ups?

I've watched nearly ever stand up DVD this year, the best of which were

Jim Jeffries

Sean Lock

John Bishop

Frankie Boyle was ok for a while but he's just a Dick.

Rhod's DVD this year was absolutley Mince, really really boring and you could see the audience thinking the same and that they had wasted their money lol.

Billy Connelly's DVD was good but the funniest part was the interaction with the audience when he named a town or city lol.

In Order

#1 - Bill Bailey, His song's are genius! I could listen to them repetitively which I can't do when re watching old stand up comedians.

#2 - Lee Evans, Has me in fit's of laughter, I remember laughing so hard once I didn't know whether I was laughing or crying that I couldn't stop :D.

#3 - Stewart Lee - Very subtle comedy, takes a while to get used to him but he's one of the few comedic gems I wouldn't have heard of if my dad didn't know about him.

#4 - Russell Brand - I'm probably going to get slated for this, but Russell Brand is awesome. His Radio shows were fantastic and so is his stand up acts.

Others

Frankie Boyle is worth a mention as well, mainly because of his lack of consideration for what people think. Love it when people can't stand him because he's too offensive :D.

Seen 3 stand-ups live recently.

Jack Whitehall - Was very good once he warmed up, picked on a bloke in the front row because he got up to get a beer and came back late getting more beers after the interval, Jack even bought he one which was funny (you had to be there).

Joe Lycett - Has been on Celeb Juice, 8 Out of 10 Cats. Won a few comedy awards. Saw him at Warwick Uni, nice small studio, was very very funny, 2nd time I've seen him.

Chris Ramsey - Last night at the RSC, was cracking night, Russeel Kane introduced him, also very good. Chris told us all about the Soccer AM incident, that's what the whole night was based around, this guys brilliant. We were front row, he accidentally kicked his water bottle top which hit my mate (you had to be there), was very funny and all his jokes and stories.

DVD

Grey Davies - this guys sense of humor is right down my street, seen both his DVDs now, live them. Also realised his tv series is based on loads of his material. Would love to see him live now.

Micky Flanegan - I didn't laugh all the way through but the bits that did make me laugh I almost cried, would still recommend.

Next I have Avon Richardson, Rhod Gilbert and Sean Locke's to watch.

dara o'briain - seen him twice in vicar street (quite a while ago for both) bit personally think he's hilarious, there's a lot of other comedians who's stand ups I like but to-date he's the only one I've seen live

Love Stew Lee. Although he has ruined other comedians for me. Living in Edinburgh always go to see the prototype show from him at the festival.

I have not seen his show but I like Tim Key. Apparently live is meant to be very good.

Grew up on Billy Connolly. Dave Allen. Moved on then to Bill Hicks, Eddie Izzard, Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey

Dara O'Briain - Seen him live twice now and both times was laughing throughout. I don't remember any repeated jokes either which is a bonus. The one comedian that I will buy tickets for without thinking about.

Rich Hall - Seen him live a couple of time, he didn't fully repeat jokes but did have quite a few on the same lines which detracted from what were enjoyable shows.

Bill Bailey - Seen his DVD's and finally got to see him last year (Qualmpeddler tour?) and he was what I expected. A bit quirky and odd but I really enjoyed it.

Eddie Izzard - Love his older DVD's but seen him live twice now and while the shows were pleasent enough, they were both mostly amusing rather than laugh out loud funny. Still rate him though and will happily see hime live again.
