I've been thinking of getting myself a 2nd GTX TITAN for SLI. I want to get one before they become to hard to get hold of, Because thats what normally happens to me with my GCards, the time I want one for SLI I cant find one anywhere.

Price has come down £200 now, But wasn't sure if to hold on in case they drop anymore.

Anyone think they gonne be that price for a while now or do you think they will drop again soonish?
 
As they are EOL, I think that price cut will be it now. I had to RMA a Titan and thought I would check retailers to buy another, as I knew I was in for a long wait but no where had stock at all. I would accept the £200 saving and grab one if this is what you want.
 
Yeah im very happy with mine it obliterates everything. would like a 2nd eventually but think they will disappear soon, so wanna grab one before they do lol. I got the EVGA one and got the extra 10 year extended warranty so feel very comfortable with it.
 
I run a similar set up with the 3930K at 4.625\ghz, 24/7 and a RIVF. Both Titans mash up everything at 1440P (except that stoooopid Crysis 3 maxed out) and I can even see me potentially skipping Maxwell and going straigh with Volta.

G-Sync coming as well, so looking good for us Green guys :)
 
yeah no point selling this one and getting 790 Black may aswell SLI it. I think the extra Memory will eventually be of advantage the way tech and games are moving forward anyway.

That's for sure! :)

Probably going to keep my 780s until Volta arrives too - I reckon that's when performance increases will start going through the roof.

To the OP, if the rumours of a Titan Black Edition are true then we may see a slight drop in the price of Titans again but I doubt it.

Titan's are the best cards I have ever used.:D:)

Crysis 3 @1600p maxed, no overclocking, CPU @4.0 = 85fps.:D:D:D:D

By comparison 4 290Xs only get about 55fps - Quadfire is broken for Crysis 3.:(

I hope I keep my word and stick with the Titans. No reason to swap them out in truth and I used to hold onto GPU's till they struggled but lately, I have upgraded for the sake of it :(:p

I am probably being harsh Kaap and Crysis 3 is playable but not what I would call "amazingly", with dips into 40's at times but with G-Sync coming, I have high hopes :D

did you get your money back, or what happened with that?
 
My SLI 780s struggle to get 40fps in Crysis 3 with everything maxed out at 1440p, that game is a killer. Looks damn nice though, just have to turn AA down to get consistent fps.

Same here, can't get 60fps average with SLI GTX 780Ti's, settled on running everything on 'High'. This is one demanding beast of a game :p

Meh!!! My cards look ugly with only 1 backplate :( I couldn't find one for love or money and none due in till the end of Feb was disappoining.
