Another question on my build and something that has bugged me with every WCed i've ever done. The fittings. I seem to never pick the best Fittings and Tubing.

Currently I have 12 Monsoon Compersion 1/2 - 1/3 fittings. The tubing i have used with this in the past has made it near impossible for me to tighten the compersions at all. Is this going to be a problem with any tubing with these monsoon fittings?

could someone either suggest tubing that works well with the monsoon fittings or fittings and tubing that is very easy to use without any risk of leaking!

Thanks again guys!

Primochill Primoflex Advanced Tubing. I've used it with Monsoon fittings before and it fits fine.

I'm sure I sure primochill before and it just wasnt possible to fit the outter part of the compression in without extreme force or by thinning the tube by shaving the tube. I did mention it before and was told not to use cheap tubing

Sounds like the tubing/fittings were incorrect. Can't of been 1/2 fittings with tube too big as I don't even think they make larger tube.

Primochill is very good quality. Whomever said it was cheap didn't know their stuff in my opinion.

Have you checked if you received the same fittings as you ordered?

Mistakes are made on occasion and i myself have received different size fittings before and of 10,13 fittings werent so tiny in the first place, i probably wouldn't have noticed.

they are boxed so I will double check. they are defo 1/2 barbs but maybe smaller outters:/ if that's even a size hah. I bought them off a forum who said the were 1/2 - 3/4. also I am not 100% I used primochill tubing now as I don't seem to see any purchase history so I will have to check on tha one

Primochill LRT, best to buy in retail box, then you can be sure you wont get it in some odd cut pieces. It was my 1st choice before I decided to go for acrylic tubing - still Primochill tho :D

Same. Now i use rubber tubing just connected to the reservoir, as it lets me drain quickly and easily without a drain port. Flexibility of rubber is useful if you want to just pull the reservoir out and tip it upside down.
