Anyone got any experience with this tyre? Looking to replace two brand new ditch finders on the Insignia I just bought and this seem competitively priced online.

Failing that anyone want to spec me a tyre for 225/55/17, the Nero GT is ~£115 a corner. I won't be driving in a particularly spirited fashion, but I'd much rather have UHP tyres than risk poorer ones just to save ~£40-50 over a couple of years usage.

(I would buy Primacy HP's to match the other two tyres which a decent amount of tread on them, but they're working out slightly more expensive, and from what I can tell the Nero GT is potentially a better tyre)

I personally swear by P Zero Neros. They're a decent all-year tyre as the Rossos tend to be more summer orientated. The only caution I would offer is that the Neros aren't quite as grippy as some of the top end tyres when it comes to spirited driving in heavy rain.

Done 11k on my current fronts (FWD car) and still got just about 50% tread left. Mileage is roughly 50/50 split of high speed motorway and thrashing the arse off it 'round Kent back roads.

Primacy HPs are total ass in my experience.

Are Goodyear F1 Assy 2s much more expensive? That'd be my recommendation.

I personally swear by P Zero Neros.

I had these all round on my FWD Fiesta ZS and have to agree with Theophany they are really good tyres for the price. Granted they've not phenomenal in the wet but they're not ditch finders either :/

what ever you go for, http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/ is a good place to read peoples opinions

Thanks for the link - given I've just posted in the Ocuk MX5 thread asking for advice on tyres your link will make interesting reading ;)

Can't find F1 Asy 2s in my size, PremiumContact5 for 248 delivered or Nero GT for 235?

I had a set on my alfa. They were really really good in terms of grip both wet and dry however they wore down amazingly quickly. 10k miles.
