New PSU for 2x R9 290 MSI

Hello I know couple you guys said my Corsair HD 850w would be fine for my new GPU's I buying next week.
But I changing a couple things now I switching case to a Corsair Carbide 540 and I want rid of the PSU i have now because it isn't fully Modular, plus the built in GPU 6 pin cable is damaged.

So

What is the best rated 850w fully Modular on the market these days? Is Corsair still number one choice or?
I was thinking Corsair RM?

I think this is the right section, that or GH..

Personally id go with the NZXT hale, the same price and Seasonic Made. I don't think the RM's have a good OEM (someone please correct me if im wrong)..

Easy to manage the cables, and looking at getting the cables Sleeved. But on that note I see only Corsair Offer them?

That Corsair looks good mate, I run my 7970s on a HX 850 Corsair.

Edit,

You may need a higher rated one though looking at other sites.

Yeah my HX from what I have seen on here will do but the cable that's built-in to the PSU you get 2x PCI-E power one of them is damaged.
I have a total £1000 to play with

That's 2x MSI R9 290 Gaming edition and Corsair Carbide 540 case. So I thought I might as well buy another PSU. lol

Any decent 1000W PSU will be enough for extreme overclocks. Decent overclocks 850W, small overclocks 750W. Overkill 1200W+.

Yeah Goal rated it would seem. But Gibbo on here did say I'll be fine with Silver rated.
I dont like that cabling with the HX though not easy to play with.

If the funds allow get the 1000W Corsair just to be safe. £70 more though.

The RM series are not the best man. I would not be using that for 2 x R290X.

We have Super Flower Gold 850 on its way soon. If you cant wait look at Antec or Bequiet 850. Have not tested these but great reps.

If you go 1000w Super Flower 1000w excellent and I tested this fully!!

Shanks im using a Superflower 1000W bronze PSU and it is superb.Does not bad an eyelid, even in Sleeping Dogs Extreme preset pulling 1050W+ from 2x290 Pro's.

Nothing wrong with the Corsair RM series at all, a very capable PSU, that does the job perfectly.

I trying to work out the size of the Corsair case 540 on OCUK and Corsair they say Dimensions: 415mm x 332mm x 458mm

now is 415mm the Length and 458mm the Height? LOL I know the 332mm is the width.

Just making sure this will fit on Desk.
