Much better ep, enjoyed it all :)

Italian lakes are stunning, enjoyed James Mays feature, SIRPC not bad and P1..... Animal.
 
I really enjoyed tonight's episode. That McLaren P1 was awesome and the jet ski quad bike was cool too. Much better than last weeks episode imo.

Just how skittish was it on the track?! It looked like it was about to go into the grass sideways but at the same time it looked like it had itself well sorted at every second. I guess that's the advantage of such a car literally being "active" every millimetre.

Skittish? We're talking about 900bhp on a wet track:confused:

That's exactly what I mean? Not in the "oh my god how could they make a car that's dotting about like that" but "oh my god look how amazing that is that it's doing that and still doing exactly what it should in those conditions".

Never sure why it takes a while really. The show is obviously recorded and edited before today so you'd assume it can be queued up to be active on iplayer the minute the shows over if they wanted too.

Can only assume they want to wait and see what complaints they get in in case they need to edit it :p not much complaint potential tonight only Hammond doing the coffee bean shake!

You have to watch the rest of the series of a show you find boring and then stop watching it...... :confused:

sorry are we watching the same programme ?

We had an interesting guest for the SIARPC segment, a proper full on review of the Mclaren P1 hypercar, a highly informative piece on the vehicles used by the british army, and a good old fashioned top gear race.

Whats not to like ? :confused:
 
Much improved over last week (which wasn't exactly an impossible task!!) enjoyed it, loved the P1, annoyingly, watching on virgin media catch up thingy, seemed to cut out during the P1 test! I blame my wife wanting to record Mr Selfridge at 9! :/

Did it start later due to the Olympics or something?


Not to worry, I'll watch again on iPlayer later and look forward to next week. :)
 
actually a great episode tonight,

lovely piece on afghan I really do love to see shows supporting our military so much. our servicemen and women are there to be respected for all they endure and topgear never fails to show the respect they deserve.


Maclaren :D that looks naughty, would love to see that head to head with a Veyron and the new Porsche.
