Why is the 7990 still nearly £900 when the r290 is less than half? Whats the advantage of a 7990 over a r290 if there is one?

Matt sold his just a few week after he bought it, he used the money to get TWO R9 290 :eek:

IMO, the 290 has it, its really not that much slower, and half the price.

The 7990 is the better card but the price currently is ludacris!

I got mine for £399 equivalent (AUD 725) which is much more affordable.
 
I was going to get a 290 with a custom cooler, but when I saw Overclockers selling a 7990 for £390!!

Their was no way I was going to get a 290 and was a great update from a 6970 :D
 
Sold my 7990 last month :)
The money went to 780TI (which was faulty and returned). Added a bit on top and got a 1440p monitor and 290x now :)
