I'm going on holiday to NZ this coming Christmas. I was recommended 2Degrees. 1GB for about £10 on a prepay SIM card.
Why don't you just get a Skype number?

Always wanted to go to NZ but the GF just is not that into it
I'm much the same with my girlfriend, I want to get out and see the world and she wants to sit at home! When it comes down to it though, I wouldn't hesitate to go over to NZ/Aus when the chance arrives, woman or no woman!

I wish I had made a thread when I got back in 2010. Now all my pics just sit on an external HDD gathering dust in my cable drawer.
Never find the time to create a proper travel online album. Maybe one day.
