Maybe its because removing a large amount of warm liquid from your body causes a small drop in temperature around your bladder area which sends the body's temperature regulation system a bit haywire.

Isn't it always? If I recall correctly, the reason that folks used to say "God bless you" when you sneezed is because you were letting the devil escape from you. Are we assuming then that the spasm is your body's way to say "God bless you" like when you pee your letting the devil escape??

Twitching is normal in humans and most widely seen in people as they fall asleep.

Nope to pee shivers, but i get this every now and again. Accompanied by a sense of falling. Really strange, yet cool feeling.
