We have a set of french doors opening on to the garden and my other half has decided she quite likes the PerfectFit solution (brackets slid in to the beading then a frame with integrated blinds slotted on to them).

Any experiences/drawbacks etc?

High Street will charge you more than double to supply and fit, I got quoted £2100 for conservatory, got them from an ebay supplier and fitted them myself for £600, you need to be exact with measurements tho.

I find them v good.

I've noticed that, had prices of £400 including the doors and two other windows (normal venetian) - blinds2go where around £200 and direct order blinds were £300.

Only problem is that only direct order blinds can do the small side windows next to the doors (approx 220mm) - everywhere else seems to have min widths of 250mm or so.

as above - I got blinds from ebay, great quality, way cheaper than any local places and spot on sizes etc.

You need to measure yourself and fit - but 10 min job and they are done.

What happens if you have condensation on the window, does it affect the blinds?

They do look smart. I used to fit them a while back and the customers were always pleased with the result. Also fitted some blinds that were built into the double glazed unit and operated by a magnet to open and close, but they were mega expensive.

Went for it, took about 10 mins each to install including the unboxing, stupidly simple. I think they look good, definitely perfect for outward opening doors!

Wife got some of these to fit a bathroom window, can't get the bloomin little bracket things under the beading though, it's too tight a fit :p

Yep, same company - don't know why they have a different site! I went for the perfect fit ones, I think the easifit are a different make (and pleated).

Sorry to dig up an old thread but does anywhere know where I can get these but at 230mm wide? Shortest width i've found is 235mm! Don't want to buy some of these for our french doors if I can't get any to match the side windows really! I've found pleated perfect fit ones which they do from 200mm wide and are a bit cheaper at smaller sizes but are way more expensive on the longer drops of the doors compared to venetian perfect fit!
