Hey guys, been using the Sound Magic E10 for 2 years now and they have been great, got red ones with red foam tips. Look lovely and I have never had headphones last this long, let alone £35 ones. I wanted to upgrade to the Mic version but I have read that it only works on iPhones which sucks.

So I wanted something similar, or anything great for under £80 that includes a Mic, music controls are welcome too.

Similiar position to you, was considering the E10Ms since I love my E10 which is still lasting for over a year, but gutted that it's only apple products compatible.

I found this thread which may be of help to you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2104171

EDIT: It has the E10Ms as working however...

My everyday carry are Shure SE530's and a Shure MPA-3C adaptor.
Only a single button, but it starts and pauses the music/audiobook and answers/hangs up calls as well as activating the voice recognition.

The current range of Shure IEM's have a cable that works with phones too.

Those look good but the shape is a little weird xD.

I have a pair of RHA MA350 - I'm keen on audio but didn't want to pay OTT prices. I'm very happy with these and they sound superb, coming from a decent walkman setup. Sound excellent with my GS3 with Wolfson DAC and PowerAMP player.

Here is a higher up model with a mic.

3 year warranty to boot.

Read some good things about RHA, and I like how it looks and price is pretty reasonable, Sound on the N5 is not too great but I well hopefully upgrade to something in a few months.

The Mediadevil headphones are excellent, I have a pair and are decent quality and affordable as well.

These looks pretty nice, love and worried about the wood at the same time haha. Well need to check some reviews.

I found that last night, but I have read a lot of places online that say it won't work without a convertor, which lead me to not really trust that link too much. E10 have been pretty amazing, I have never been able to keep a pair of headphones for longer 6 months without destroying them, even more expensive headsets.

Shure headsets are pretty amazing, but it is a bit much for my needs I feel.

Apple aimed products have the ground and mic pins swapped round. Most decent Android phones will be fine with this though and will detect the difference and account for it.

Not all of them, my Desire Z didn't when I tried out my sister's iphone headset in it a while back. Sure it's a 3-year-old phone but it was a flagship(ish) model when it came out.

I don't know if RHA have gotten any better recently but I had some a couple of years ago and while they look nice and solid the build quality was terrible, the connection between the jack plug and cable kept breaking even though no pressure was ever put on it.
I went through 3 pairs until I just gave up.
