iPhones with flappy birds

Is this to do with Flappy Birds creator Dong Nguyen announcing he is pulling the game?

Seems to be scope for an epic tabloid headline for this*

"Dong Pulls Flappy Birds"

"Flappy Dong Ends"

"Dong Turns Off Flappy Birds"

etc.

*probably won't scan so well in Vietnam though

Hah I enjoyed that!

Flappy birds ditched by chinese(?) dong

Not quite the same, is it

£6.7 mil and counting.

Do not understand why everyone claims it is 'rare' either. Only been off the app store for 24 hours or whatever.

Apparently according to the metro (so probably fantasy) he was making £30,000 a day at one point from advertising revenue. Not taken down for legal reasons...

Just installed this on my 5s off someone else who had it..

Pity it seems mostly hype if you look into the actual bids going in now, never mind someone actually paying out..

Games good at getting you to play if your the kind of person who can't handle being beaten.. does look like he's just taken parts from other older games..

Ebay have already pulled any of the auctions so not likely anyone will sell from it. Even if it is currently listed they most likely won't let it go through.

According to ebay to sell a phone it needs to be factory restored.

"Smartphones and tablets must be restored to factory settings before they are allowed to be sold on EBay," the email said. "Please remove all content from your device, including the game Flappy Bird, before you attempt to list your item again."

Not sure why he took it down. He'd might as well have let it play out and get as much money for it as he could whilst it was popular.

Take it away, then build up some hype and release it to a bigger fanfare for more moneh ;)
