Anyone running Michelin Pilot Super Sports on their 123d BMW?

I've got
215/40/18
245/35/18

Not liking the RFT

Don't want to be changing from the OEM tyre size

I have them on the rear of my 335D (just piliot sport 2's on the front)

rate them very highly, car drives lovely so much so I paid a premium to have new ones refitted as I did not want to lose how it currently drives

CS5 if for some reason you have an aversion to goodyear.

PSS compromise some wet performance to gain dry performance.

I'll have a look again re others

Fitted price for 4 x tyres £677.23 from Mitchedever for PSS

PSS out of stock from micheldever until March. Camskill and then pay Micheldever to fit or following a recommendation from birds BMW specialist get CS5s
225/40/18
255/35/18

Why not F1 A2? Better than CS5, arguably.

As someone who will need a new pair of fronts this month, and who normally uses CS3/CS5, would you recommend the F1 AS2 over them?

Was just going to put CS5s on but if the Goodyears are a better tyre i'll go with them instead.

Difficult to draw a direct comparison as its two different cars ( though similar sizes, front at least) but I personally don't find much noticable difference between my as2's and the cs5's I had on the civic.

I'd just pick the cheapest ( unless there's literally a couple of pounds in it). When I bought the Goodyear's they worked out about 40 quid cheaper fitted, overall that is

I'm in a similar position to the OP.
Recently bought a 130i LE (which comes with runflats, 205/45 front, 225/40 back) and I'm looking to get non run flats, which for my wheels I'm told 215/40 front, 245/35 rear will be fine.

I don't really want to go wider than 215 at the front as I don't want to lose the good turn in the car has with a narrower tyres at the front.

They don't appear to do as2 in 215/40/18 so I too am looking at mitchelin super sports.

Are these a good tyre to get based on these sizes for dry and wet? And is the noise really that bad? (I'm coming from Goodyear eagle ntc5 runflats which aren't that noisy in my opinion).

Also, if I order from blackcircles (or elsewhere) will I have a problem with the garage swapping runflats for non runflats?

Thanks

My car has the 208 alloys which I believe are:

18 7.5 on fronts and 18 8.5 on rears

Mine are the same sizes but with 216 alloys.

Let me know what you decide to get.
I'm also considering 225/40 front and 255/35 back, but I think that's a bit big.
