A huge hole the depth of four double decker buses has opened up on the M2 between Faversham and Sittingbourne today.
The giant chasm - an astonishing 49ft deep - has brought chaos to Kent's road network this afternoon.

I think they mean buses stacked on top of each other, then unhelpfully measure the depth with a bus on its end. It's not very clear.

The Highways Agency said the hole measured 16ft (5m) by 6ft (2m) and was 15ft (4m) deep


The agency initially said the hole was 50ft deep. It is now investigating what caused it.
