0-0 at Cardiff. Villa were much better in the second half - they should have won it, and would have if Agbonlahor and Weimann were more instinctive finishers. Marshall made a couple of excellent saves too.

Saw that, took me about a day to find out they'd lost at the weekend as well, thought it had finished 1-1, was still happy they hadn't won that would have taken them top. Looks like it will be a 3 point gap to them with a game in hand.


West Ham with a deflected and lucky second, game was basically over anyway but certainly now.
 
FT 1-0 Saints.

Lots of possession but the few chances we had were wasted or hit the bar. A scrappy goal won it. It'll be good to have the young Sam Gallagher back as he offers something a bit different but the decision/failure not to replace Osvaldo is backfiring a bit at the moment, we look toothless in the final 3rd.

Perhaps Ramirez returning from injury will provide the creativity we need, Lallana can't do it all himself.
