If you get the tapes make sure you get the ones read by Patrick Tull and not Simon Vance.

In my opinion Patrick Tull is a much better reader. He nails all of the accents. The Simon Vance one I think was produced for Americans who wanted all of the British/Irish accents to be the same.

I have got the first four books unabridged on audible, they are narrated by Ric Jerrom.

My dad takes them but it absolutely has nothing to do with all the seafood he eats and booze he drinks. He thinks it's the chicken.

She is one lucky woman. It makes me want to swap. If they made a luminous (as that red is really luminous to be fair) BLUE version. This phone would be on the bay the same day
 
Two of these bad boys never owned an XBox when they first came out now i have two :)

Bought one which was sold as being in very good condition but when it turned up it looked like it had done 10 rounds with Tyson so complained and got a full refund plus got to keep :)

Bought another one which was only about £5 extra and it's in mint condition so over the weekend going to tinker with them and have them do other things :)

I've not heard those ones. Amazing that a series that long could be read so many times!

I'd encourage you to give the Patrick Tull ones a go for comparison. He's one of the best audiobook readers I've ever come across I think.

But now that you are used to Ric Jerrom it may be too painful to change. :D

I always find it really upsetting if the sequel to a book I've just listened to is read by someone else. Massively jarring. :rolleyes:

Picked these up earlier today, the local Oakley store is having a refit so quite a few demo sunglasses are half price. These were £79.99. I've owned the Gold Iridium Polarised Flak Jacket XLJ before and liked how secure they felt but the lenses on XLJ are ever so slightly taller than I'd like so bought a pair of Ray Ban (also Polarised) back in November, I normally wear sunglasses when driving and having worn the Ray Bans a few times now I've decided to go back to Oakley and will sell up. The Ray Bans look nicer but I prefer the feel of Oakley and there appears to be fewer reflections bouncing around on Oakley lenses too so more ideal for driving conditions.

I have two hard modded versions of these at home, really good fun. Used to use one as my media center for years before I moved to the Raspberry Pi.

Have to grab one out of the loft for a bit of nostalgia!
