And more rain due Friday, not that its stopped. A months worth of rain is expected Friday.
Just when is it going to stop, I'm sick and tiered of getting soaked through, boxers and all.

The day after tomorrow got it wrong, its not a new ice age, it's a Noah flood age.

I was in Milton this morning and it was windy and lashing with rain, drive back up to the Midlands really windy, strong gusts and side winds. Trees down in the road outside Hinckley and it's currently sounding pretty apocalyptic out there.

I bet those who live on canal boats are fairly smug right now!

Sort of, my friend lives in one. All the houses around them were flooded, However they were relocated to a middle of the field, thankfully with the sustained flooding they got it back to the canal. Oh and it cracked a window :D, think they're feeling smug.

Came home to this and it's a good job I bought a new Makita cordless on Sunday.
Roof is back on with the help of Mrs Dimple & a Dimplette and I've put at least 100 more screws in it to hold it down.
At 7pm it got too cold so haven't batoned it and expect all the roof felt to be blown off.

Blimey your house looks rough! ;)

We had the power go out so I went outside & started setting the Caravan up to use for the night as I keep it on charge permanently so we'd still have electricity, shower, TV, fridge etc. & a load of fire engines & a police car went down the lane to the farm at the side of the house. Don't know what's going on down there.

Isn't a caravan with electricity less safe than a house with none?

This is what candles and radios are for.

It's as windy as I've known it in Leeds, power's still on, but it's some mad weather for sure. Wasn't doing much when I came out of work at 5pm either.
