Need to go back to Android - Nexus 5 or Z1 Compact?

Had enough of my Nokia Lumia 620 now. It's a decent enough phone but I find the app selection somewhat limiting and the phone itself is very uncomfortable to use for long periods of time.

On that note I've narrowed it down to either the Nexus 5 or the Z1 Compact.

Obvious pro's and cons for either handset?

I changed from a One X and got myself a Nexus 5 when it launched, start of Nov. It's a great phone, runs great, fast and the battery is pretty reasonable.

But starting to find it somewhat boring, not sure if I'll end up keeping it or not. Might end up going for the next HTC One phone which could be out next month I reckon.

If i were you, just have a play around with the Z1 Compact in the shops see what you think.

Nexus 5 pro: Better screen, better software, plastic over glass
Z1 Compact: Smaller? better battery life, better camera

I would give both phones a try and see how they feel and so in your hand, how you like each version of Android, and the camera.
