Is the R9 290 overclocked better than the GTX 780 overclocked?

Also, are SunFlower and TeamGroup good brands?

So it doesn't matter too much which one I choose, just get whichever is cheaper?

Yeah, but also take into account upcoming/current features like the Mantle thing for AMD, ShadowPlay etc for Nvidia and just go by that - personally I would go Nvidia but that's just me :D

The i7 isn't better for gaming than the i5 so I'm lead to believe? If I changed i7 to i5 that saves me £70.00. Could that £70.00 improve any thing else?

I think I prefer GTX 780 over R9 290. Is that motherboard/cooler better than the others listed?

Thanks.

I've owned i5's and i7's and there's nothing i've seen or heard about that shows a significant difference in gaming.
780's good, less power and runs cooler, also nvidea is always on the ball with drivers.
70?.....fans? fan controller? headset....pocket money? lots to do with 70 quid :p

Which would be the best to pick out of these for overclocking? I'm in favour of the GTX 780 because it runs cooler/quieter so may be better overclocked?
