Indeed to a point, i think it's very important to learn how to mix on Vinyl first, learn the trade the real way so to speak

In the same way it's important to teach yourself how to use computers by installing Windows 3.1 on a computer with a Intel 386 processor.

CDs were around then, vinyl is more like pre-Windows machines you connected to your TV.
