nokia lumia 1320

Am interested in it, shame about the camera. I hope it is around that price. But thats almost 1/3rd of its big brother at £599,
I want a massive screen, but worried about how it feels in trouser pocket. I got a tiny wallet as i hate stuffed pockets. Will see, cpw didn't have the 1520 in stock when i went yesterday to see how the size feels.

Meant to be out sometime in jan. Which i cant get my head around, budget wp8 are the biggest seller and they're going to miss christmas and the new year sales with that release date.
The os and apps have come a long way, this will come with the latest version of wp8 which will make it even better. And then the massive udate with notification and other features will be ~march.

When I first got the 520 the apps were basic and no where near as polished. But now they're great. Gone back to the iPhone as my 520 is in for repair and the audible app for example works great on the 520, but having issues on the iPhone. But off course wp8 doesn't have as many apps as android, but does depend what you use, theres's only one app I would like which isn't on there, which is skygo.

Ive got the galaxy mega at the mo and tbh the size isnt an issue at all.

fits perfectly Into work trousers.

only apps that I really use on my mega are

amazon
ebay
youtube
bank

Everything else is just there.

Bank may well be missing depending who you use, if its natwest you're good to go.
Amazon and ebay have good apps.
Youtube i use metrotube which is great.

Then it all boils down to the quality between them two.

In all honesty, if the 1320 is built anywhere near what my 920 is, then you're pretty much safe. I drop my 920 from my top pocket so often, I sometimes wonder how the phone is still working in mint condition over a year in!

As you've got all the apps you need in Windows, you're pretty safe to switch over and give Windows Phone 8 a good whirl. If you're into Xbox or XboxOne (especially so), the integration with some games is a perk. There is also a recent surge of apps that everyone seem to deem as standard e.g. Instagram, and more to come. Does suggest WP8 is slowly gaining more support - if you're not tied down to Gmail, I would highly recommend you coming to WP8 and see how it goes :)

Three now have it listed on the coming soon q1 2014 with an expected price of £210 (TBC)

:) thats a hell of a lot of phone for that price. If it doesn't change.

Those run times are nice, but rather know how long they last browsing on 3g/4g, watching video on netflix over 3g/4g and gps tracking whilst listening to music (screen off)

Something to note is that at the moment there is no way to install apps to sd card so that 8gb may fill up quickly, but if like you said games/apps aren't a big deal I wouldn't worry about it, looks cracking

Rumour is end of Feb release, still no confirmation yet though.

Still a shame there's nothing in the middle. This spec but add an extra £90 for a decent camera.

Wtf £299.99 (27th of Feb) from carphonewarwhouse.
Would rather the 1520 at ~400 from people importing from Hong Kong.

It's not a fair comparison, though. What's the price of a 1320 imported from overseas?

Not to mention one will have a full, 2 year UK warranty and the other has nothing.

Really liking its so far. Fits in work trousers and shorts, jeans may be an issue, but haven't worn any yet.
Been on and off it all day since 6:30 and it's still at 78% which is phenomenal.

Where did you get it for £205? Might be tempted to get it instead of the Lumia 920 if its only £30 more..
