We are trying to lose, honestly what a ****ing abysmal selection from MP and performance from the players. Disgraceful.

Meh, finishing 7th will be a lot more exciting than a cup run :/
 
Cup run just ends in more games and given the other teams involved still wasn't likely to be a walk in the park, I can see why they only took half a stab at the game today.
 
Southampton are safe in the league, and their next game is another week away anyway. On their day they're a match for any team left in the competition - no reason not to go for it.
 
Man City: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Kompany (C), Lescott, Clichy, Garcia, Toure, Milner, Silva, Jovetic, Dzeko

Subs: Hart, Richards, Demichelis, Kolarov, Navas, Negredo, Nasri

Subs: Schwarzer, Cole, Lampard, Salah, Schurrle, Oscar, Torres
 
If Chelsea perform even half as well as they did a few days ago but find their shooting boots this could be a painful defeat for City. Hoping for a violent high scoring draw though.
 
It's beyond me how ITV has stuck with Chiles, Keane and Dixon for so long considering they show Champions League and FA Cup live games.
