Cargo pants

I love how some peoples first comment is whether they are in fashion or not. This sort of thing doesn't even enter my mind! What a weird priority to set on choice of clothing.

Anyway, I get my from Marks & Spencers, Debenhams etc... they usually have a selection.

I find cargo "pants" far more comfortable and far more useful, the extra pockets are invaluable.

There's a difference between caring about what's "in fashion" and what makes you look good. People don't look good in cargo pants. I don't wear them because I feel like it makes me look like a tit, and prefer to dress well.

Same, all the ones I find are over the top, with branding all over them and too many pockets. I just want the basic ones with a couple of flat side pockets.


Might just give in and get a pair of these and a nice manbag instead though.

I don't think that's what people are saying. I genuinely don't remember the last person I saw wearing these that wasn't 16 and carrying a skateboard. I suppose you could get them from an army surplus place?

To answer the original question, M&S, Mountain Warehouse and Orvis. I will avoid the fashion part of this thread as being a middle aged overweight IT nerd may just weigh against my credibility. I wear cargos most of the time.

Cargo trousers once saved me for being arrested in my youth! the police checked the normal pockets but completely missed the thigh ones.

Back on topic, any hiking shop surly will have these in stock?

next do good ones, for some reaso nthough they only do a zip pocket on the left side now, used to be both knees.

i have quite a lot of pairs all the same lol, also make good work pants as theyre really good quality.
