Yup, I basically thought for both teams being out of the FA cup would help their league chances.

Thing is I don't think either will win the league anyway and both could potentially win the FA Cup so, meh.

I think it's more a case of easier to get top four without the extra games.

Good win for Arsenal but over the 90mins Liverpool could still easily have had 5-6 goals, just bad finishing from them today.

Everton are the big winners I wouldn't fancy them against Liverpool but Arsenal certainly.

Disappointing to lose, because I thought we were by far the better team, but I'd rather lose than draw. Couldn't have picked a better team than Everton to face Arsenal though, hopefully be a draw and an extra game for both.

Thought Sturridge was absolutely dreadful for us today, could've had a hattrick and played in Suarez twice for easy finishes. Still, would rather he got that game out of his system in the cup rather than a league game.

Finally, Joe Allen is a brilliant footballer. Does so much to justify his price tag. Hope he stays with us for life.

Webb missing out on the important calls. Gerrard 2nd yellow and the ox penalty. Liverpool missed their chances arsenal didn't sums up the game for me.

I'd rather lose than draw, bit stunned Monreal wasn't sent off, we weren't given a second penalty and Gerrard wasn't sent off.

Unsurprisingly Webb influencing the result of another game.
