Cleaning up after my late parents: Is this junk or antique?!

looks pretty good condition too. To the right people, worth a lot of money.

Can you get a bigger picture? Vintage music equipment can be pretty well paid for.

Turns to me, asks if it's worth anything. Cheeky devil. Get a bigger, clearer picture - looks like an old tape to tape, but without the name/model and knowing what your controls do it may be worth £5 may be worth £50

It's a Brenell Mk5.

Looks in good condition, £100 at least if it works i recon. There's a few of us out there that would love to use one to record on.

I got an old tape to tape a couple of years ago, about £30, some music and cuts to parents and kids messing about with the tapes.

Depending on the functions, it could be worth £100 at a push, but that'd be to someone who either collects Brenells, or music equipment. Or to a studio tech who wants the proper tape warmth.

Best bet is to see if it still works and listen to it :)
