gtx 780ti is the best imho

I have owned both, 780ti is the best plug and play option, generally much more overclocking headroom, AMD's 290 series are powerful but need to much fiddling with imho. The 780ti is the better card hands down but you'll pay a premium over the 290x for it.

780ti is the most powerfull in most instances, but the % difference isn't much in games between that and the 290x.

The 780Ti would get my vote.

OK thanks for the input now, msi gaming twin frozr IV or gigabyte windforce 780ti which one is quieter and cooler
