Still no release date for it though

This generation is going to be a whitewash, its so bad that it won't even be competitive. Sony may not have a competitor next generation.
Still no release date for it though![]()
21st of March.
I don't know why but weirdly Konami feel the need to spell out the exact differences between all the versions of MGS V before the game is even released.

Being asked so often about differences in “frame rate” and “resolution” depending on the hardware model make little sense to me, but I listened, so I plan to publish it tomorrow (laughs).
Well, once you play with the next gen version, it’s smooth like butter, and you won’t be able to go back to the current gen version though. (laughs)
Because there were many questions, we published comparison pictures between the current generation and next generation versions of Ground Zeroes. First of all check it out with stills. We will publish the video later. It’s difficult because we cannot predict how people will react, but that’s how it goes.
Looks like this will be a recurring theme with Xbone releases.
Not played a MGS game since 2, might pick this one up but I've probably missed too much in the series...
If they are already having to downgrade XB1 games graphics at this stage, what's going to happen further into this gen when they start to target 720P 30 fps even on the PS4? Will they start cutting out effects completely on the XB1?

check this comment of a xbile1 lover in regards to the game
"Given how effective the new upscaler is, xbone version should be up to par with PS4's in motion. In addition, the upcoming update that is stated to reduce GPU reservation for OS to 2% should close the gap (given no information can be found on what % of PS4 GPU is locked away for OS purpose). As a result we may see frame rate stutter on xbone version as it may run over 60fps then."
I have never understood why people just make up total nonsense. That person must be actually mental or something.
720p games on the PS4?
I doubt that will happen.
