So much butthurt especially that lucarocks:p. Geezus never realised how much hatred there is for Arsenal.

No one expects us to go through by beating Bayern, that much is a given. But if anything we should give them a stern match either way. It says a lot that even Pep has said they will take Arsenal very seriously;).

As for last year?? the only reason why Bayern went through is due to the away goals...imagine if Giroud had buried that chance that he smashed straight at the keeper??. We would have gone through rather than Bayern;).

Seriously stop it with the butthurt that is so evident in here especially from lucas, its embarrassing to see this.

We get it lucas, you dont give us a chance in hell...you have said it one too many times and its getting boring now.

If it's about winning trophies then what about teams who dominate their leagues like the two Belgrade sides. They're usually frequent in the Champions League too so would you consider them top teams on that basis?

I'm not expecting us to beat Bayern in Germany, but there is no reason as far as I can see that we can't give them a run for their money in London. We're a well run club with a big, modern stadium and a pretty talented young side. Now that it looks like Arsene has the capability to spend a bit more to get the players he really wants then perhaps we'll continue to have more seasons like the current one where we're competing for all sorts of trophies. I'm fed up of the pessimism on here, it's bad enough having to read through DM's essays after every game let alone other people chipping in too.
 
i think it will be a closer game then before but I don't think arsenal can do them over 2 legs bayern are in a tier above arsenal i think 3-1 or 2-1 to bayern imo
 
Jeez all these Gooners so butthurt that your not a top team. I'm not saying anything bad about Arsenal i have not criticised them at all. I am talking fachts (benitez) and the facht is Bayern are going to thump Arsenal i cant see it any other way.

I have only replied to the people who have questioned my opinion i haven't gone on rants about Arsenal or anything like that. I dont give Arsenal a chance against Bayern that is my opinion feel free to disagree but it's not changing.

No sadly not, From what i heard though Arsenal were lucky to come away with a win and got outplayed by Liverpool? Imagine what Bayern will do to u then?

They could easily do the exact same thing to be fair, its a football game, there is always the chance Arsenal could win 5-0.

You're right, Bayern are massively ahead of Arsenal in quality and as a team but that doesn't mean they can't be beat/get a shock result. If it was played on paper we might as well just have a Bayern Barca final right now

I have a better chance of winning the lottery than Arsenal actually progressing passed Bayern! I'm telling u Arsenal have 0 chance of going through. If Arsenal actually beat bayern 2moro i will say i was wrong and Arsenal are better than i thought.
 
You're kind of contradicting yourself, unless you're suggesting if Arsenal win tomorrow Bayern will 100% win by a better score in London.

You're right about Arsenal not being one of the 'European Elite' or whatever phrase Sky want to use, they are a tier below and haven't really taken any big scalps in years, I can't even recall how good that 07/08 Milan team were, but there is always a chance they can beat anyone.

Anyone can beat anyone, except David Moyes at Anfield/Arsenal/Stamford Bridge, he has done well to take Old Trafford of that list this year though

NO matches have been played, yet we are already seeing lots of children in here on there Half term off of school arguing.

God help us what this place will be like during and after the CL matches
