Any reason barca haven't played neymar? Anyway judging this so far if city just kept pressing instead of sitting off sometimes they could probably really get at them and likely score negrado done well with his half chances

It's not a coincidence that when City started pressing Barca found a little more space in behind, like when Fabregas played Iniesta in. Far better off sitting off, asking Barca to pass through them, and using Negredo's height and Navas's pace to hold the ball up top when they get the chance to break.

Edit: There again - City had men up pressing, and if Sanchez's touch was better he'd have been in.

Yeah, Neymar came on at the weekend for not entirely sure 20-30mins maybe, scored a reallllllllly nice goal. Hard to say if we'll see him tonight, in an important away game where it's been pretty physical it doesn't seem necessary to risk him. if city are down to 10 men and 2 goals down, no reason not to bring him on at that point though.

That's a fair point but usually any team that sits off for an entire match concedes anyway especially against this sort of team, navas pace they haven't used to great effect negredo height has helped then loads so far though
