Hi Chaps,

I've been messing around with pCars for quite a while now and my confidence is fading believing it'll be a good game..

I've heard Assetto Corsa is quite good - Has anyone moved from pCars to it, or have bought both? Either way, just how good is it?

Thanks,

David

I have both.

Assetto Corsa has better physics and FFB.

However, pCARS has far more content at the moment and it's likely to stay that way. It's physics and FFB have varied wildly over the course of development and I've loved it and hated it at various stages. What it will be in the end is anyone's guess, but wherever it ends up it will still be very playable and maybe as close to Gran Turismo as we'll ever get on PC.

On the other hand AC supports modding, so may well end up with a large amount of content.

I'm sticking with pCARS simply to see if it pays out. I've been in it since the beginning and may as well stick it out now.

It's probably the game I'll play the least out of iRacing, AC and pCARS.

Bit the bullet and got AC.

My goodness the interface is 100x better than pCars, I can actually get into a game in about 10x less mouse clicks.

Just went round silverstone on the KTM Crossbow, as previously mentioned the general feel and FFB is a lot better than what I've expereinced in pCars.

For me also pCars has had a love hate thing going on. For the most part I've loved it and logged 76 hours on steam and probably the same prior to it going on Steam.

But since the end of the year it's been all hate, sorry but the FFB sucks now.
And that bloody interface is garbage, It puts me in a bad mood before I even get to the track.

AC is ok but it still has a long way to go FFB is better but something feels off under braking it just seems to glide somehow.

I'm kind of disappointed in both really AC is a lot less advanced than many thought and we haven't seen any MP code yet.
