GTX660 OEM!

Hi.

You will get much better performance than the gtx 560. However, if you are willing to unlock and overclock these can be brought right up to stock 660ti/760 performance.

I picked one up for cheap and bolted on the Kracken G10 + Corsair H55.

Then used Kepler golden bios unlocker, then kepler bios tweaker to raise the TDP, voltage and boost limit and vram speed. Managed about 35% increase over stock.

Great card for cheap, as it actually uses the GK104 same as the gtx 760, but has the memory bus of the 660ti, with slower clock speeds (easily fixed), unlike the retail gtx 660 which uses the lower end gk106, which doesnt have as much potential.

Cool. Was looking at the kraken to cool it actually.

I got the card free as it overheats. So i got some gelid gc extreme paste and some thermal pads to attempt to cool it using the referencr cooler.

Ill be doing that tomorrow.

Cool. At a minimum you should do the KGB, it really unlocks the potential, as the factory set limits are insanely low, and cripple this card.
 
RobCrezz!!! HELP!

I have got the card and have sorted out the heating problem, but the card don't really work.

It boots up and lets me into bios for around 2-3 seconds then decides to freeze on me... my current GTX560 works fine mind...

Any ideas?
