Hey all,

I'm looking for help to build a PC primarily for gaming for around £600. I've already got a keyboard, mouse, OS and monitor.

Would also like for the PC to have a wireless adaptor please.

Main games I'm looking to play are modded Skyrim, BF4, Minecraft and Civ 5. Is this possible with £600 or am I looking at needing a bigger budget?

Thanks! :)

That's the cheapest intel build I can think of, very capable machine. Here's an octo-core AMD build.

XFire capable for the future. Worth spending a little extra to leave room for that option as it would give you around 80% more graphics performance. Case brings a handy GPU interior fan-mount rail to help with airflow for that, which can also be used to keep cards from bending. Good aftermarket cooler also included, to get the most out of your CPU.

To get cost down to near the stated budget, I'd probably make do without an SSD for now, as it'll have far less impact on gaming performance than the CPU and GPU.

Wow! Thanks for the quick replies and builds!

Am I right in thinking that all of the builds suggested here are able to be overclocked? If so, how difficult is this to do?

Overclocking is`nt to difficult, there are plenty of good guides about on the internet. Or you can always open a thread in the Overclocking section, where you will get some great advice.

Not sure when you are going to buy this new system. The Psu I have selected is currently OoS, but is better than the CX500. The Gpu is clocked faster out the box and comes with a 3 year warranty, as opposed to the 2 years with the Powercolor. The Asgard Pro is also a very good budget case and comes with 2 fans pre-installed.
