Lighting advice

If your looking at my ceiling it means you are either sleeping with my wife or I knocked you out and your flat on your back. ...

Will this be your only light in there? Unfortunately I think you will be disappointed. It will only give you 1200 lux (so about 20% more than a 100w light bulb) and because it has a small footprint will cast shadows over your workspace. I have 2 x 9W LED GU10s in my ensuite alone and this unit is only 12w in total.

You could always consider replacing the 3W GU10 LEDs with 9W ones comprise of 3x3W CREE LEDs or similar.

Edit: I was looking back for the one you posted that had 2 x T5 strip lights, but you appear to have changed the link of this one to the square light? When I was referring to 2 x 2500 Lumens I meant the one you originally posted before it changed.

hmm, central lighting :(

wherever you stand that light will be behind you,
kitchens are task orientated areas, the lighting either needs to be above/side (track) or in front (under cabinet).

overpriced too.

Will see how it goes. They have good reviews and I have two sets coming for a small kitchen.
