Hi folks, looking for a bit of advice and you guys seem to know your stuff so here goes.

Built a new PC this time last year but not really happy with it and looking to change some of it. I have 2 Gigabyte 7870s crossfire and I'm pleased with the performance but not the noise when gaming. Plus I want to water cool my machine and it looks like my 2 cards would be difficult to do(can't get a water block for them).

So my question is what single card would give me better performance? I'm leaning towards a GTX 780. Would this be a good choice? Thinking I'm wanting to move away from AMD. I have a budget of £350 -£400.

I currently have:
Motherboard - Gigabyte 990FXA UD3
CPU - FX8350
Memory - Corsair Vengeance 16GB
PSU - Aerocool Strike-X 800w (Changing this to the SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 1000W White)

Sorry for the long post.

Cheers.

Thanks mate, choosing a graphics card is a nightmare.

Now to decide what 780.

Is the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 SC ACX Superclock 3072MB a good choice? Slightly over budget from OC but can get it under £400 elsewhere.

Decided to go for the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 993MHz 3GB PCI-Express 3.0 HDMI ACX Classified. Slightly over budget, just hope the girlfriend doesnt find out lol.

Thanks guys.
