***The Official Battlefield 4 Thread***

is it double XP today? i've managed to unlock quite a few battle packs.

got my loadouts set up quite nicely now too, i still fiddle about with them though during a session depending on what's happening (equipping stingers or RPG), the mortar is a really brilliant weapon too now i know how to use it effectively. taking my time to find groups of infantry and only launching 1 mortar at a target.
 
Is this any good on the PS3? Really after having a go and i'm not getting a PS4 until next year. Reviews seem to be split on the last gen opinion.
 
Played on Xbox for the first time in over a month, Really had a good night enjoyed playing with my friends again. Went from 45 to 55 as well in no time (double XP and boosts seems like cheating).

I just wish the servers on Xbox were more like the good PC servers.
Map vote, Punish/forgive for TKs and mixed game modes all add so much to the game (not to mention the fact i'm so much better with K&M).
I'm glad I have both but the Xbox One version still needs some polish.
 
After putting in hours typically with my favourite weapons always wondered when I was going to unlock attachments such as Green Laser, Tri Beam etc.
Rank 45! Only ever opened 4/5 Battlepacks completely forgot you had to do this manually so I now have tons and I mean tons of 25/50/100 XP Boosts and so many attachments I don't know which to use.

Feel free to all laugh at me below.

The whole battlepack thing annoys me TBH.
"you've received a new battlepack!" Now remember you have to pause the game and go open it. Don't forget to use your XP boost too. Obviously it was too much effort to make the game do this automatically.
See those 20 sights for your favourite weapon? Well you can only unlock 2 yourself* and if you're lucky you might get one in a battlepack at some point. Or maybe not. Who knows?!





*that might be a slight exaggeration! :p

I read somewhere that a guy was saving all his gold battle packs for after February. Every day in February he is going to open his crappy bronze battle packs to unlock all the crappy stuff.

Then hopefully by the end he has unlocked most of the crap he can then open all his gold ones to get the better unlocks. That was his logic anyway, I don't know how successful such a plan would be.

I opened all mine anyway so I'm not bothered. I am logging in every day to get the "free" ones.

i left mine and went downstairs and made a sandwich and came back up and it was still on the black screen once.

if it's still there after a minute imo it's best just to close application and load BF4 again.
