Newcastle win it almost certainly with that.
Suicidal defending by Skrtel today who looks awful when he isn't confident in his partner it seems.
Good subs by Brendan, Allen did very well and Kolo somehow looked more settled than Agger.
Pity we should've had a pen also and the freekick for their second was a bit lucky, got fairly unlucky and played poor defensively and won, guess that is okay.
Allen did a lot of chasing of the ball on that left side and won it a lot and kept the ball in their half quite a bit with good passing, bit of a poor cross that time it got blocked but he did well.

Big big win, Henderson MOTM for me kept going and try all the time, Allen did naff all when brought on. Defence a shambles, Sakho needs to be back soon. Though some how won which is a nice change

Phew, biggest 3 points so far - well until the next game. We made Swansea look like world beaters at times. Need to address the midfield in games like that.

Allen was fine when he came on although it was completely the wrong substitution to make. A few tactical changes would've made that a stroll in the park but it appears we've just decided to ignore defending now and aim to score one more than our opposition each time.
If we get 4th and qualify for the Champions League I'm afraid Rodgers will get found out

At the moment our defence is poor. We'll see if Rodgers addresses that in the summer (and/or whether it improves with Sakho back) before making judgments about the CL

Glen looked decent for only coming back today, although he always does look more disciplined and better at left back.

Allen was the right sub based on what happened after, Kolo also surprisingly seemed a good change in the end.
Rodgers doesn't really get found out in the big games though does he, he underestimates other teams and our midfield's ability to raise their game and work harder. Also Skrtel finally getting called for one of those, hopefully he stops now, we need Sakho back asap, him and Skrtel were actually good.
