So, it's official MS have slashed the UK price of the Xbox One to £399 with a copy of Titanfall.

Quite big news.

Xbox One has been cut in price to £399.99 in the UK, and will come with a copy of Titanfall

So who is in now?

While stocks last on the Titanfall being included. If you get in early it's not bad as you could sell the game for £30-40 I imagine if you don't want it.

Can't see this thread turning out well....

IMO, its still too expensive. They need to drop Kinect and another £50 for it to make sense.

Wow, nothing for people that bought at launch and Christmas. I know console priced will drop with time and we expect it this has been done after only a few months and is simply a sign of desperation.

lol @ people who said I was wrong that MS would cut their price weeks ago.

£30 + titanfall is what a £70-£80 cut if you were going to buy titanfall (which I guess is the number one reason to buy an XB1 atm).

Totally but it's the gamble you take being an early adopter.

A bold move but I'm still not willing to pay anything for Kinect, if Microsoft want Kinect to be in every home then they should subsidise it themselves, it's not like they can't afford to... why should I have to pay for a device which is still for the most part a gimmick and gamble my money on it becoming the next big thing in gaming?

£300+Titanfall would probably tempt me to get one.

Is this the Titanfall bundle? Why the standard controller when theres a TF controller? I guess the TF LE console was never real :(
It's not the first time Microsoft has cut the price of its machine in an effort to boost sales, the firm cut the price of the first Xbox by £100 shortly after its launch. Nintendo also reduced the cost of 3DS just a few months after the machine launched due to flagging sales.

Unlike those two instances, there will not be any compensation offered to customers who already ordered the Xbox One before Christmas. Although the price drop here is not as severe as in those previous examples.
Thats a shame...

I still don't think it's enough as well imo, £400 for a XB1 + Kinect and a Digital Game.

Well chances are your going to get PSN plus with a PS4 anyway so imo the PS4 is still ahead in the value for money stakes, you can get a PS4 + Eye Camera + PSN Plus for around £400 but Sony aren't forcing you to buy any of these extras, it's your choice. I hate forced bundles when I'm not interested in some of the bundled in extras or any of them in most cases.

Oh the Titanfall bundle is a thing, but it comes with a standard controller and console. No SE on either the console or controller. Pretty crap.

Is this your 'around' figures again, that are not actually 'around' anything?

£349 PS4
£44.99 camera
£35 PS+

£428.99

And from the High Street for non savvy consumers:

£349 PS4
£59.99 Camera
£40 PS+

£448.99
