not impressed at all , think making it water proof , made it bigger, its 5.1 inch screen but its quite big compared to the s4 , also the finger print , do you have to swip from top to down, as im thinking if you had phone in 1 hand and using thumb the swipe is from left to right , not comfortable front top to bottom,
 
Design wise, who thought it was a good ideas to have a triple curve bevel? That actually makes me feel a little sick.
 
I hope the sales flop, they deserve it for this garbage. Though it was a joke at first.
 
You know more i see it the more i begin to think it looks ok, it just like a smaller version of the Note 3 if anything.....just not as good. :)

Even with all the haters on here it still outsell Sony, HTC & LG combined even if they have the better smartphones, because Samsung have the marketing clout.
 
guess I'm missing something obvious but why is it so bad? what were people expecting?

its dust and water resistant, battery life sounds good and if the camera is good they'll be onto a massive winner surely?

It's ok for the general Joe, but just a plain boring update for us lot.

Having the same (crappy) design for 3 years is disappointing.

Design as in TW or the physical characteristics? The reduction in shiney plastic stood out to me as being quite a significant design change but i guess the same old buttons are there at the bottom and the bezel looks like its got bigger rather than smaller..
 
TW actually looks noticeably better, it's just the physical tacky design I'm bored of. And they made it bigger, bigger than even the G2 which has a bigger screen! The bezels look dated.

Same here, too. Just look at the TimeShift photography, you have to see it to believe it!!

Also, can browse the internet while having a nice soak in the bath! Bliss!

With 3,200mAh battery, no wonder you'd not be worried about battery level if you are reading a epub book for 2 hours, etc...

Or even watching a 3 hour film while your wife is doing the driving! LOL! :D
 
The Z2 is even bigger then the S5 thou, its taller the the G2 Pro (5.9" device) which is just crazy, Sony needs to trim those top and bottom bezels.
