What card should I buy?

Sorry been off the scene for a few years!. Looking to buy a gaming pc and wondering what card offers best performance with decent overclocks. I want to max out any game @1920x1080

Its going to be a prebuilt system so I cant really predict the specs. But if you recommend a certain card I will look for system that will obviously power it

Are you likely to get a decent system with a 290 or 780 for £800?
I'd have thought a 280x would be more likely at that sort of price?

Yeah I would have thought a complete system with 780/290 for £800 is hard push considering the GPU is around £300-£400.

The OP doesnt say if he needs O/S , monitor etc. I would say a 280x is more likely though depending on what other spec he needs you "might" be able to do a 780/290.
