Hey guys, when i got my G700 i purchased some better rechargeable batteries, although recently they have only been getting me around 6hours, so im looking to buy some better ones.

So which rechargeable batteries do you use ?

Crap on battery life, got as G700S and no better.

High end 2850mA and little known (probably BS spec) 3800mA and still last about 6-9 hours and that's not gaming and in lowest settings/power savings.

Tried Duracell Ultra M3 and last 2 days Max, was going to waste a Duracell Lithium on it to see how long it can last.

Been better if it took 2 batteries same as earlier mice but even then it would still be a joke.

If some of their mice can run 1+year on a single battery surely they can get a week out of a gaming mouse and rechargeable or even 1month on normal battery.

My old MX1000 used to last 24hrs+. very annoying that they have moved to using an AA battery :/ its a real shame as i love the shape, and actually use the 4 thumb buttons in lots of games.

If i cant find anything which can last a day without needing to be plugged back in, i think il have to move to a different mouse :/

I used to use Sanyo Enloops and I got around 2 days of gameplay which isn't bad considering I have Max Gaming mode and 1000hz polling rate on.

However I was getting tired of swapping batteries so I now use a thin, light, flexible cable on the G700s and I don't have to worry about batteries anymore. The stock cable is utterly useless.

Sanyo Enloop XX, set the polling rate down to 330 when not gaming and I can get roughly a 3-4 days on them.

I am using a micro USB cable from a samsung phone as a usb cabe as it has enough rubber around the plug to stay in snugly but is a lot more flexible than the cable that came with the 700s.

2400 Duracells at the moment, only just replaced the original Eneloop after 2.5 years! Battery life is fine to be honest, its used at least 9 hours a day and will last a few days without charging. Have profile 3 set to 125 polling rate for desktop use (not even that much difference to 1000 to be honest!)

24 hours use and still 3 bars. By their own admission the poor battery life is due to their focus on maximum wireless performance. It really isn't difficult to plug this mouse in overnight and charge anyway.

That still is not an excuse as they did state longer life than what peeps get and again this is with power savings set and low HZ and non gaming.

Nothing new from Logitech, the Harmony One etc get nowhere near the life they quote in specs.

I forget to take it to charge it as they have done away with desktop cradles like older mice used.

Can agree on the dock part, it would have been nice to see one instead of/ as well as the thick cable. I have yet to find a nicer mouse to replace it though, and I have tried so many now. Be interesting to see if they can use similar technology as the G602 on the next iteration to give better life.

Are these meant to be worse than a Performance MX for battery life?

My MX lasts a good week on a charge and I use the pc heavily each day.

Its not a gaming mouse though so was looking at the G700s as a possible replacement.

Using whatever battery came with it, I use my G700s wireless all day at work, then take it home and game for up to 7 hours. I then do the same the next day and then plug it in to charge overnight just before I shut down and go to bed. It's not once run out of power yet...

Performance MX a week on a good week between charging I could live with (fitted higher capacity batteries to mines).

I could never get on with it outside of gaming it was erratic and many had same issue not sure if a fault or software related.

The G602 is primary about battery savings not gaming IMO.

If you can do 2 days work and 14 hours gaming (if I am reading your correctly above) on it then your either very lucky or not doing much mouse work on it during the day.

To all of those claiming high use / easy 1day + from one charge, what settings do you have your mouse on ? in terms of power mode / poll, etc

Must be special settings as I have it set as low at it can bar 800DPI for desktop use.

Any lower its too slow as does not have the 2 Speed/Acceleration sliders like previous mice in Setpoint.

Get a good day to two days use out of it. 9 hours+ day. Batteries as said before are eneloop xXx and settings wise...
