Hi there

I've spoken with bookatrack and in short no discounts. :(
Still they are the best organiser with the fewest running cars and typically no one banger racing, I've done circa 20 track days with a few different organisers and even though they are more expensive you get more track time and it's more relaxed with little to no queuing.

So ONLY VOTE for a date if you can 110% attend that date and are aware it will cost £295, seriously no drop outs, so only vote if 110% sure you can afford and make it.

I've also added an option of an evening Trackday, if this is more popular in the vote we shall make a new poll for an evening track day. They cost half nut typically you get far less track time as people stay out longer resulting in queuing plus with only 3 hours it's all a bit rushed to be frank, but if it's the more popular choice than so be it.

P.S. All are OPL!

I'd love to do Donington, and meet a few more people from here, but I just can't justify it for £300 every time. Double what I already consider expensive for a track day.

Are bookatrack really 50% better than any others?

Bookatrack operate with about 50 cars, upto 30 on track at any one time.

Others tend to be 70-80 cars with upto 30 on track.

So if people want a more or less exclusive Trackday we have better chance of getting 40-50 cars rather than 70-80.

A full day in Summer with others is around £200ish normally.

I can add Monday June 30th and Monday July 7th full days at £199 if wanted, but it's not bookrack, Javalin instead who are OK? Full days and open pit lane also.

For another £300 you could have a bike licence, bike dayz!

Leave those Clioz for deadz

Forget about getting anything like an exclusive day, I'd imagine you'd be lucky to get much more than 10 cars. There are a limited number of people who have the interest and finances to commit to a day like this and getting more than a small number of them to be able/willing to make the same venue on the same day is just not likely to happen

Having said that, if you end up with one of the Javelin dates then I might try and come along but I won't bother voting as I can't commit just yet.

I'd be up for something like this, but I would want a definite date to book off work. Plus £300 is a lot of money! I could finally give my VTR a thrashing.

Me and my friends have been looking to do Donny so will get in touch with them. It's quite a hike for us though so will most likely stay over the night. (if anyone could recommend a place?). Cars in bits atm having a hybrid turbo and motec fitted but should be ready in 6 months!

Would be Celica GT-Four, Mr2 Turbo and Ignis Sport (Stripped out) if I can get them to agree to my date.

Would prefer a Javelin one as they are cheaper and always been fantastic with me but my holidays are pre-booked 13 July - 02 August.

What if I`m only 100% sure ? How do I get the extra 10% if I`m already 100% certain ? :p

Whilst the BaT days are well run, I can`t justify another £100 over something like a Javelin day for the little extra tracktime that would give me. That`s fuel for a day.

Unfortunately, I can`t attend the Javelin dates you`ve suggested, it`s too close to a trackday I`ve already booked.

Javelin are good. But then I've never hit long queues with any TDO, definately nothing that would make me want to spend 50% more to avoid them.

My MOT is due in April, if the Clio makes it through without a massive bill or being sent to the scrap heap in the sky then I will put my name down for one of the Javelin days.

Quick question, would we need helmets and all that jazz?

Edit: Also does an open pitlane mean we can disassemble our cars for dem less weight gains? :p

Helmet yes!

If you book a garage, about £20 you can do whatever you want with your car. I've seen people literally replacing a gearbox/clutch at track.
