I think that £369 deal if you or your family are in anyway interested in Kinect is an excellent price. If not then your always going to feel like you are paying more for something you don't want over the PS4.

I have zero interest in titanfall unless it came as a physical copy I could sell. Other than that if it's still £369 when a game comes along I'm into then I would bite at that. A stunning price so soon after launch.

£370 for the complete package & TitanFall is a fantastic price just a few months in. I'll wait a bit longer myself as I suspect it'll have dropped more when Halo & Gears starts to hit.

If it'd launched alongside PS4 with that price & bundle I may have bought the Bone first!

Apart from people wanting to play the Xbox One exclusives....

But this includes Titanfall which isnt an XB1 exclusive :p
Seriously, this should be the reason why you purchase an XB1, you like the Xbox exclusives and the everything else that XB1 can give you. TBH i always thought that the XB1 price in the UK was inflated, the PS3 launched at £425 and $599 dollars, the XB1 was £429 and $499 dollars. Its a good deal for those who want one and those who got the XB1 at launch got a special controller and a day 1 Achievement, i cant see the problem :D

Well done to Microsoft for dropping the price, this might even push Sony in dropping the price of the PS4 in the coming months.

I've previously had a PS4, now got XB1 and these price drops are good for the consumer - so please some people end the negativity.

LOL so funny.

It's not funny, you just don't know what you're talking about. Your responses are the funny awkward ones.

No one is saying resellers buy them for RRP. We're saying that there will be a fixed dollar price that resellers buy them at, and the strength of the UK Pound (GBP) will determine how much resellers spend out per console, so the resellers buying price will change, even if MS's US Dollar price ($USD) doesn't change.

As I've said before, how is it that you can't comprehend this?

Both PS4 and Xbox One prices are inflated compared to US prices.

The PS4's (pre US sales tax) $399 price works out at £243 pre-tax, and then with VAT it's £291.

The Xbox One's (pre US sales tax) $499 price works out at £304 pre-tax, and then with VAT it's £365.

Which means you're paying an extra (pre-tax) £32 for the PS4, and an extra (pre-tax) £53 for the Xbox One compared to US's pre-tax prices.

However, what this means is that UK resellers could actually buy US PS4s and Xbox Ones at US retail price and STILL make a profit on them (not that they actually are buying them at retail price.)

Sonny saying MS will get the same stock unit price and retail are the only ones who will be hurt by this price cut is the funny part. Retail will be paying less per unit in line with the new RRP.

Not sure why you and he seem to be missing this point.

I'm getting closer to the tipping point of whether to get one or not.

I've worked out I pick one up for £309 after staff discount etc... but to be honest the only reason for getting one would be that the majority of my 360 owning friends have now moved across to the XB1.. Really need some killer games to come out for it I suppose

I don't understand the people saying it needs to be under £300 to make sense. As it stands at £369, makes it the same price as a PS4 bundle (Knack, KZ).

Why does the XB1 need to be cheaper than the PS4?

Because some people don't want to pay more for a less powerful system.

I understand that (myself included) but when you're interested in the MS exclusives the price shouldn't have to beat the competition, just match it. If pepole think the XB1 is ever going to be cheaper than the PS4 they may aswell forget it altogether and wait 8 years to play Halo, Gears, or whatever it is they might want to play.

Exactly the reason I got my XB1 first, I wanted to Play the MS exclusives more than the Sony ones.

you can't say that out loud here...the SDF don't like it

As far as I can see, the only PS4 exclusive that looks decent is Second Son, out at the end of next month.
That is the only game (so far) that may tempt me to get a PS4 at some point
