I don't have high hopes, but you never know....
Recently I saw an artwork in a frame. I'd really like to get hold of a print.
I've searched as much as I can and gotten nowhere.
I'll describe it as best I can....
I'm pretty positive it was Japanese. Definitely modern.
It was portrait orientated, it was all gold, the same shade throughout on a white or off white background.
It was of a great big sort of stylized monster (looked a bit like a bear maybe, but not quite).
The monster was stood up like a man. It was huge and there were mountains behind.
The perspective was looking up at it from ground level.
There was little detail in the picture. For example the monster itself was just an outline filled with gold, the face if i remember rightly just had a mouth?!
It may well be a fairly well known piece, it seemed a little familiar....
So, not the best description, but it's a hard one to describe! Good luck and thanks in advance
