Surprised nobody has chirped in with Skyrim with mods yet lol.

One of my favourite urban myths. I've got all the 4K texture packs, hell my baskets are high resolution. ENB, SSAO, everything. Can't get it to top 2.7GB at 1440P
 
Wonder if this would effect or help the miners? It would be insane to see some of these mining rigs with 4 or more of these cooking eggs :D :D
 
Yep correct Precision readout of VRAM usage. I think you may struggle with 2GB at 1440P JUST with all the same mods but it would have to be tested. 1080 shouldn't be a problem. I think a lot of the time though people have conflicting mods, seen it myself where it shoots usage through the roof.

Increase ugrids and run 8xSGSSAA, that will bump it up. ;)
 
Look at all the stoners/pot heads making pot coin in the USA lol, trying to bring this alt coin to pay for weed, I don't think minding will go away any time soon. I just think people will bounce between low difficulty coins.

Would 8GB Vram actual make a difference to miners?
 
Has anyone ever been able to run out of VRAM on Titans? And I mean to the point where framebuffer rolls over into main RAM, not "I looked at my overlay stats and it said it was almost full".

4th card works very well in BF4 with both SLI and CF.

Unfortunately when reviewers run 4 card setups they use the same settings as they do for single cards for comparing results. If I were to do this and run toned down settings @1080p then the results would be poor.

Wont make hash rates better. If anything itl be harder to achieve the same hashrates, as memory clocking will be harder.


Idont think you understand the little alt coins coming in...

Pot coin is as much for stoner's as kitteh coins is for cats.
 
A constant 120fps while running games like bf4 maxxed out will take the vram to around 2.9gb as its been reported. Add some custom Anti aliasing like MSAA+SGSSAA and you can add another 1GB of ram to that.

I wont buy any card that has under 4gb as i game at 120hz on an IPS panel and i use high amounts of custom AA so for me 3GB is crap and the new console games will easily eclispse that once 12 months are out of the way.

So why can my two GTX 690s manage higher fps @1600p than two of my 290Xs lol.

As to using an IPS panel money no object, a GTX 780ti is the best card.
