Vert instigated it, from one angle it does look like the guy puts his head in a bit but, never enough to hurt Vert like that, complete dive. In no way excusing it but from what I've seen(only watched bits) they've been diving quite a lot, Vert got a yellow for that guy out pacing Vert then throwing himself to ground, and the striker guy wrapping his arm around Vert them throwing himself to ground.

Was their goal offside as well, it was a bit unclear, one replay in the end and it looked a bit like it.

That was a GREAT goal, great control, neat finish. When Adebayor isn't being a greedy **** he can be very good in front of goal. Just his utter lazyness throughout his career that hurts him so badly.
